Illuminous Antioxidant Serum

I have been seeing Dr Alanen and using Revoderm for over 10 years. This is the first product that didn’t work for my skin. For reference, I have dry and sensitive skin, with a few small spots of hyperpigmentation and have been using this serum for 8 weeks. After the first time using it, I woke up with 6 small pimples, but they healed after a couple of days. It also stung quite badly for the first 2 weeks and the stinging has come back again at week 8. It also dried out the skin around my eyes and the bridge of my nose to the point of flaking. I used it every third day for 2 weeks and worked up every second night since and sadly, have not noticed any difference in my skin’s tone/hyper spots. Further, the bottle lid has cracked (no idea how this happened) and it no longer seals properly. This is disappointing as it cost $200 and I still have 75% of the product left, but am unsure if I can use it due to the bottle breaking and the potential of the serum oxidizing. This is my experience with the product, but glad it has worked for others. I love all my other Revoderm products, but sadly, this serum didn’t work for me.

This is an amazing product. It has lightened all of the spots on my face and evened it out. Gives a lovely glow.

Love this...keeps my skin bright and moisturized. Can not say enough great things...I think this has replaced about 3 other serums I use; so I am happy. I agree with another reviewer that it smells a bit medical for a minute (luckily that goes away really fast). Only downside from my perspective is that my teenage daughter loves it (says it helps with her acne), and now I need to buy for two!

I really like this serum however it took a bit to get used to the initial smell. Luckily it doesn't linger.
As indicated, it does sting a bit the first time applying if you have sensitive skin. This only happened on my first application.

I have been using this for about a month and my face is looking so much better than before . I could tell within the first two weeks it was working as my hyperpigmentation was noticeably starting to fade, now when I look at my face it’s significantly more even in tone , I don’t need make up to blur or cover anything and that’s exactly what I wanted .All I use is a little tinted sunscreen to protect my face from the sun and I’m loving how my skin looks. I would highly recommend this product . It’s worth every penny in my opinion because you definitely will see results .
